Edições especiais de Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

A Konami confirmou, oficialmente, a data de lançamento de Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. O título vai chegar para todos os consoles (menos Nintendo) no dia 01 de Setembro de 2015. Além disso, uma incrementada edição de colecionador foi apresentada ao público.

Serão duas edições especiais: Day One Edition e Collector’s Edition.

Morpheus: Trailer e especificações detalhadas

A Sony apresentou ontem (03/03/2015) mais detalhes do projeto Morpheus. O óculos de Realidade Virtual (RV) é a mais nova tentativa de romper a fronteira de imersão nos jogos de video game. Óculos 3D, sensores de movimento e periféricos interativos até conquistaram um relativo sucesso em vários consoles, entretanto o joystick ainda reina soberano. Será que agora vai?

De acordo com a Sony:

Morpheus é um sistema de RV que leva o PlayStation 4 para o próximo nível de imersão e demonstra o futuro dos jogos. 
Morpheus permite aos jogadores experimentarem a sensação de presença como se estivessem fisicamente dentro do mundo virtual de um jogo. Esta experiência única de RV foi recebida com enorme interesse e entusiasmo da indústria desde o anúncio de Morpheus em março de 2014. Durante o ano passado, a Sony ouviu opinião de ambos lados, desenvolvedores e consumidores, e fez várias melhorias que ampliaram ainda mais a capacidade de Morpheus de entregar uma sensação de presença, fazendo com que os limites dos jogos sejam superados.

Especificações

Vejas as características técnicas do aparelho:

• Display OLED: Morpheus RV é equipado com uma tela de 5,7 polegadas 1920 x RGB x 1080 em um display de alta resolução OLED. Esta tela amplia o campo de visão e permite baixa persistência, remove motion blur e flicker.
• 120 FPS: Ao adotar OLED, Morpheus agora suporta saída de 120fps, e é capaz de processar 120 imagens por segundo. Além disso, através de uma atualização de software, todos os sistemas PS4 vão lidar com a saída 120fps nativa quando conectado a Morpheus. Ao combinar alta taxa de atualização da tela OLED com o poder do PS4, Morpheus produz visuais incrivelmente suaves proporcionando um maior nível de imersão.
• Rastreamento mais preciso e latência reduzida: Para fazer o rastreamento de posicionamento mais preciso com a PlayStation Camera, o protótipo recebeu mais três LEDs passando a contar com 9 no total. Além disso, todo o sistema foi otimizado para reduzir a latência entre o movimento físico da cabeça de um jogador e a renderização no display.
• Design de fácil utilização: A viseira foi adaptada para reduzir a pressão no rosto dos jogadoes, apresentando uma única faixa e um botão que possibilita a fácil liberação do aparelho. Outras ajustes forem feitos para tornar o display mais leve e confortável aos olhos.

Também foi revelado um trailer que mostra mais em detalhes o óculos. Confira:

A Sony ressaltou que ainda vai disponibilizar uma série de melhorias para que os desenvolvedores possam trabalhar em seus jogos além disso, uma SDK (biblioteca de funções de programação) será oferecida e um dos recursos será a possibilidade de se converter 60FPS para os 120 FPS de saída do Morpheus.

Lançamento

Ainda não foi agendada uma data oficial para o lançamento do produto, mas a Sony garantiu que o Morpheus estará disponível para os consumidores no primeiro semestre de 2016.

Preço

O preço do “gadget” ainda não foi divulgado pela Sony. Mas, nós brasileiros já podemos prever que não será nenhum pouco barato. Aqueles que se interessaram já devem começar a juntar as moedinhas.
